Castle Rock, Colorado is south of Denver and north of Colorado Springs. Its known for it’s landmark, an unusual Butte topped with a giant rock that’s both the size of and resembles an ancient castle. There is a hiking trail around and up to Castle Rock at Rock Park. But Castle Rock has more hiking trails in town and hidden in the surrounding countryside.
